RepBeat Uploader
RepBeat Uploader is a private tool used by its owner to upload videos to the owner's own YouTube channels, including REP BEAT.
What it does
RepBeat Uploader is a personal automation script (Python) that helps one independent creator publish videos on a regular schedule. On the owner's PC it:
- Assembles a video from the owner's own materials: original music generated locally by the owner, licensed royalty-free stock footage (credited in each description), and on-screen text or narration.
- Prepares an accurate title, description and tags for that video with a language model that runs locally on the owner's PC. Descriptions credit the stock footage source, and music videos state that the music is AI-generated.
- Uploads the finished video to the owner's own channel and sets its custom thumbnail, using YouTube API Services (YouTube Data API v3).
- Marks uploads that contain AI-generated music with YouTube's "altered or synthetic content" disclosure.
Channels it manages
RepBeat Uploader publishes only to channels owned by the developer:
- REP BEAT - gym music and workout motivation (Shorts and long workout mixes).
- A facts / education channel operated by the same owner (planned).
How it uses YouTube API Services
The owner authorizes RepBeat Uploader once per channel with Google OAuth 2.0. RepBeat Uploader then calls only these YouTube Data API methods, always on the owner's own channel:
| Method | Purpose |
|---|---|
videos.insert | Upload the owner's finished video. |
thumbnails.set | Set the custom thumbnail of that video. |
channels.list (mine=true) | Show which channel was just authorized, so the owner can confirm it is the right one. |
RepBeat Uploader does not read, collect or analyse other people's videos, comments, subscribers or analytics, and it does not automate views, likes, comments or subscriptions.
